Very tidy camp. Friendly staff. Right on the water. No shade from summer heat over any site. Pool hours close a bit early and open a bit late for families with children: opening at 11 for kids means no morning swim before checkout for families

A little snug for wider Rigs but a nice place to pile-up for awhile. Swim pool has set hours for adults only and kids can play the rest of the time. Saturday and Sunday breakfast by a chef an his wife. A Saturday afternoon ice cream social with root beer floats is worth being here on any weekend.

The on-site sraff are friendly & helpful. (Diane is a doll!) Wished the swimming pool stayed open later than 8 pm. We enjoy the Dock Side Cafe.

Unfortunately, it was a bit expensive because of all the amenities and because we stayed on a holiday weekend. It was $42 a night, plus an extra $10 deposit for our dog. This place is NOT super dog friendly. The dogs aren't allowed on the beach, or in the picnic area, or pretty much anywhere other than your site and a small fenced in patch of grass they have set aside as the dog area. They must be leashed at all times, even in your site, and you can't leave them outside unattended for any period of time.

Overall, good weekend family spot for young kids and big groups or a good spot to recharge and dump your tanks if you're on a long trip, but if you're a smaller party with pets looking for more freedom and less noise, this is not the place for you.

The camp hosts are also real sticklers for the rules. They give you a printed handout of the rules and told us upon checking in that quiet hours are at 10pm and to keep the party down, even though it was just my husband and I. We parked our truck off the road a bit to let bigger rigs get by and a lady yelled at us to keep our tires off the grass and made us re-park. The staff goes by every hour or so in a golf cart to police the grounds. The spots are also pretty small so you're literally RIGHT NEXT to your neighbors.

Great for RV or trailer traveling. It has everything you need: full water and electrical hook ups, paved angled parking spots, pull throughs for bigger rigs, black and gray tank hook ups at every spot, a place to do laundry, showers, a pool, lake access, breakfast and ice cream on the weekends in the summer, a game room, etc. Their lake access is limited but they're walking distance from Blue Heron Park which is beautiful and has a beach and swim area. This resort really has it all.

We have stayed here for years and is a really nice place to stay. Needs lots of updating though and bathrooms are locked after 7.
