Absolutely horrible customer service. Trying to build a new house and have been waiting for over 2 months for an estimate on how much it is going to cost for them to set up a new power service. I am opting for a cheaper option (overhead lines) as opposed to underground because they are charging me $12,000 to get power to my new house and am told it will supposedly be a little cheaper to go with overhead lines. Tried to save money by telling them I will dig the trench myself. They said I can't but won't give me a reason why. I've been asking for a price on overhead line option for 2 months and the engineer refuses to give me a price because he wants me to pay more money and go with the option he wants. There is no other choice for electricity so I have no options besides just sit here and get the run around over and over again and in order to get the job done it seems like I just have to give in to whatever they say because everyone else I talk to says Larry the engineer I'm working with has been here for 35 years and although they all say he's stubborn and won't work with people, they won't do anything about it and I just have to do whatever he says. That doesn't seem right to me.
He was nice and helpful until the second I started to have a different idea and wanted to go about the job a little different than what he wanted.
I'm sure posting this won't help me because he will see it and refuse even more to work on my project.
They have no competition so you know they do what they want and we can not say nothing because we have to have power
Always there. Always helpful. Rarely have a power outage compared to other places I've lived. When there is a power outage, it's rapidly restored. Electricity prices are some of the lowest in the nation. I've lived in this house since 1994. Many years of good service.
Online Bill Pay is huge in my book. Any utility company that allows online bill pay is good. They're "okay" but then again, they're all we got. There's no competition to compare them to.
Thank you for the excellent services you procide. We have enjoyed the fiber optics and rapid response of your office.
