The owner is wonderful.
They did a good job on the grooming... but everytime we went to drop them off our dogs just clinged to us, they didn't want to go with them. Other groomers I've used in the past they went willingly so for them to act like that at Animal Crackers tells me that they are not being treated very well. One groomer in town used to have her own shop but for unknown reasons no longer has it (Patty Jardine) is WONDERFUL with our dogs. If I could find her again I'd stick with her forever. But Animal Crackers just makes me awful - handing over my dog when he has got his paws around my neck holding on tight, shaking and whining.
Horrible, horrible place! We left our little Yorkie there for a few days and when we picked him up he had several large cuts on his head that were still bleeding, had lost hair, shaking, had urinated all in his bed and on his toys (which he had never done before-ever!) and acted starved when we brought him home. This place should be shut down and the owners put in jail. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS HERE!!!! This is simply animal cruelty and abuse! I have left a comment before and the owners had it erased. Please listen if you care at all about your pets.
Karen and her team are highly skilled, do a great job, and are fairly priced with excellent customer and pet interactions. Been using her for years and won't go anywhere else.
