Best manicure in town.
I want to start by saying that I had my hair colored several weeks ago, and it was PERFECT. It was gorgeous. It was exactly what I asked for, and I am very specific to ensure I get the right thing. Unfortunately, I am now revising my initial review to reflect my most recent experience, yesterday. Primarily, due to the lack of professionalism and demeanor of my stylist, whom I am naming only because I don't want this review to reflect on anyone else's work, was Marchelle. I went in for a root touch-up. My base color just needed toned, like she did my last visit. I asked for a root smudge to better blend grow-out. I requested the same tone family as before and was very specific with my desire, backed by images. I ended up with a golden copper that barley covered. I had a drastic line around the front and chunky gold and copper highlighted stripes across the top. Just about as opposite as my request and images. I messaged her to get back in for a fix. I proceeded to send more images of my desires so there would be no mistaken what I was after. Unfortunately, I ended up with a way worse outcome. My roots turned out a strange (depending on the lighting) muddy auburn/greenish and the lengths, depending on the light a muddy blueish, greenish off tone. After she finished drying and asked what I thought, my response was, "I don't know what to say, I want to cry". This is where things turned worse. She walked me up to the front, in natural light and my thoughts were the same. She response was, "this is what you asked for". I explained what I was seeing, and all she could say was, "I think it's beautiful". Her tone was irritated and snarky at this point. She went to the back to grab her stylist friend, to back her up. Her first comment to her was, "she said she wants to cry" in a sarcastic tone. She asked to see that image I used as an example, and as I left, I could hear them whispering. When I returned and showed the image, she also argued that it was beautiful and that what I was seeing was basically my imagination. Her behavior and attitude escalated more at this point. I explained that it was not at all what I asked for. I was respectful yet blunt. She kept saying that she gave me what I wanted, it's beautiful, etc. She then proceeded to take the smock off, with a quick and hasty attitude, and said, "have a nice day", and stormed off. I write this because my experience was unacceptable to a high degree. My request should have been easily achievable since prior to my last visit, I was close to the image presented. I hope that this review will help ensure that this does not happen again in the future.
